Guys & Gals… Madison Avenue has over sold importance of things in the USA (starting with the Davey Crocket Coonskin Hat on B/W TV).. and down played the importance of character and knowledge .. the market has to pop the value bubble and the medical bubble … So hang on …and time for government to cut their salaries …

What To Do About The Desert X Press -LA/LV/SLC

Thanks .. First get Harrahs to put a train station along the Rio Property (close to Caesers/Bellagio/City Center), and run today’s best trains back/forth to LA. Put 20% of the fare in a fund to upgrade. Stop taxing other states for stuff, we might want, (then we can tell those states we aren’t going to fund your museums and airports etc.) If necessary have the federal government buy the railroad right-a-ways from the Railroads with IOU’s that the railroads can spend to run their trains on other RR company’s tracks. Then let any company with proper licenses bid for track space moving at 60mph between LA/Las Vegas/SLC … and watch the entrepreneurs step in and run a railroad like they used to. Railroads are too afraid of passengers … They put passenger trains on sidings to let higher priority freight trains go by ..and wonder why people don’t ride the railroads. A barrel of oil as diesel fuel in a train moves more people further than a barrel of oil refined into JP-4 (jet fuel). For two reasons .. The steel wheels on steel tracks less drag than airplane in headwind and 2nd Fuel doesn’t have to be spent to get the train way from gravity.

A Step to Financial Wellness

Time to cut the Federal minimum hourly rate by 70 cents a month till it gets to 0 or unemployment gets to 4%. Time to sit with each government worker (non-active military). We can’t afford you, “You can take 8% cut (-2% / qtr) or we will put your job on Monster.com at 25% lower salary. If no qualified person wants your job, then you can keep your salary, if a qualified person applies for your job at 75% pay, you are gone.

The Answer For California

The answer to California is ..”If you want a bailout then you must break up into 3 states … California you have shown gross mismanagement especially with all the government defense money that pours into your state. So either “grow some” and stop whining for money or take the bailout and break up into 3 states”…Question is will Congress have the b_lls to spell that out in their California bailout agreement as a condition for the bailout.
