The question is comparing apples to oranges. Wanting something that you can't have is a waste of time and energy. If it is something that you really want, then work for it. If you have something you don't want the answer is as close as the nearest garbage can. But if we are talking about relationships. If you want a person that you can't have, if you are young, it might be a crush. Like liking your first grade teacher. But if you are an adult, then you are wasting a lot of time. Go after something that you can get. No for the deep part of this response. If you are in a relationship that you don't want, run don't walk to the nearest exit. This too is a waste of time and it may be preventing the right person from getting to know you. Now if you are married, then the picture is different. You need to make changes in your life to get back to the point that you loved that person. unless you were a mail order bride, everyone at the beginning were in love and then we let the rest of life get in the way. But you need to spend all of the time and energy working on getting back to the place you started. Life is not easy at its best and we have to work hard at a relationship, if you don't, you will be in and out of them like bad cloths. Make your relationship work by loving the one you have made the commitment to.
